Nha Trang Beach
Nha Trang has a 7 km white sand beach fringed by palms and casuarina trees, is one of nicest municipal beaches in Vietnam. The turquoise waters around Nha Trang are almost transparent, making for excellent fishing, snorkelling and scuba diving.
Cham Towers of Po Nagar, known locally as Thap Ba, located on a hill just 2 km north of Nha Trang. They were built between the 8th and 12th centuries on a site that had been used for Hindu worship. Originally the complex consisted of eight towers, four of which remain.
The biggest and most splendid tower called Main tower (at 22.8 m high) was built in honour of Po Nagar, also known as Lady Thien Y (who was the beautiful wife of Prince Bac Hai). She taught the people of the area weaving and new agricultural techniques. Her 2.6m sandstone statue has ten hands, each holding a specific
object illustrating the intellect and power of Buddha.
The other towers are dedicated to gods: The central tower to Cri Cambhu (which has become a fertility temple for childless couples).
The north-west tower to Sandhaka (wood cutter and foster father to Lady Thien Y-ana) The South Tower to the god of mercy Ganesha (Lady Thien Y-ana’s daughter) with human- bodied and elephant- headed.
Long Son Pagoda was built in 1963, formerly the Branch of the Buddhist Institute of Central Vietnam. Perched on a hilltop is a 9m high white Buddha. The pagoda commemorates those monks and nuns whom died demonstrating against the Diem government

Hong Chong is a small crescent-shaped bay. It mainly consists of massive rocks lying on top of one another. Hon Chong is divided into two parts. The first part is situated offshore and the other is in the sand dunes at the Cu Lao fishing hamlet. The offshore cluster includes layer after layer of massive rock emerging from the sea. These layers of rocks act as natural wave breakers.
The second part, Hon Chong
Promontory, located in the sand dunes, looks like the work of a giant, who carelessly put several massive rocks together. On one side of the rock, facing the sea, there is a deep handprint with the five fingers close together.
Ba Ho Spring is 25 km far from Nha Trang. The spring has its source on the peak of the Hon Son mountain, at an altitude of 660m . The spring flows from the mountain to the sea, three times broadening its bed creating three lakes. The natural landscape is of utmost interest, and it is a very attractive sight for tourism.
