Travel terms & conditions

*General booking conditions
All tours and services can be booked directly with Huong Viet Travel or its appointed agents. Huong Viet Travel and the Client agree that the terms and conditions for the services provided by Asean Travel & Tours shall be governed by the following general booking conditions and that the general booking conditions shall form an entire part of the service contract, whether verbal or written, entered into Huong Viet Travel and the Client. 

* Prices and validity
All prices quoted to the Client are net in U.S. Dollars and valid until 31 December 2007. Huong Viet Travel also warrants that the prices quoted to the Client are correct at the time of issuance of Client’s brochure but are subject to change in line with market, tax, currency fluctuation, with or without prior notice. 

* Payment
Upon confirmation of a reservation, a 30% ( thirty per cent) deposit is requested and the balance of the total package tour price should be paid at least 45 days ( forty five days) before starting date of the tour, or otherwise Huong Viet Travel may cancel the bookings without any refund of the sums already paid to Huong Viet Travel by the Client. The Client’s payment shall be executed by cash or credit card. Except for cash payment, service charge may be added. In case credit facilities has been agreed with the Client, payment shall be executed by telegraphic transfer to the following bank accounts:

* Cancellation

Cancellations must be made in writing to Huong Viet Travel
Fees (per person)
- More than 30 days before departure: $250
- Between 15-30days 50% of selling price
- Between 7-15 days 75% of selling price
- Less than 7 days: No refund

Refunds are calculated from the day we receive written notice. In the event a canceled booking is rescheduled, the cancellation fees are waived with the exception of a $250 per person administrative fee and any additional expenses that may be incurred.

No refund is due for any unused portions of the tour program which caused by personal reasons (illness, injury, emotional trauma...) forces of nature, geographic & climatic conditions...

* Liability
Asean Travel & Tours always undertakes everything within its power to exceed the Clients’ expectation in terms of quality and value. The understanding is that Huong Viet Travel acts as intermediary between the Client and airlines, hotels, transport operators, local tourist offices providing services to the Client. Huong Viet Travel shall in no event be liable to the Client by reason of unsatisfactory services provided to the Client by third parties or by way of indemnity, for any loss, injury, delay, change in schedule or other adverse events beyond the control of Huong Viet Travel. The Client warrants that Huong Viet Travel shall not be responsible and liable for additional expenses and damages due to any delay, accidents, action of god, unrest, political action. 

* Claims
All disputes, claims and litigation regarding the services shall first be settled by way of negotiation and mutual understanding. In the event such negotiation and mutual understanding would fail, the disputes, claim and litigation shall finally settled by arbitration of the Vietnam International Arbitration Center at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. All claims must be submitted in writing within 14 days after the end of the services.
